At A1 German, learners are beginning to use familiar words and simple sentences in predictable everyday situations.

About this course
The course introduces German through everyday topics including greetings, introductions, personal details, numbers, occupations, nationalities, languages and places in towns and cities. Learners also examine basic grammatical concepts such as gender, personal pronouns and verb endings. Teaching uses spoken communication alongside pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Homework is recommended to reinforce work covered in class.
