Upper-intermediate German classes focused on spoken communication, interactive activities and everyday language use.
What Upper Intermediate (B2) German means
At B2 German, learners can communicate fluently on concrete and abstract topics, develop arguments and respond in detail.
Support a viewpoint
Obwohl die Maßnahme zunächst Kosten verursachen würde, käme sie langfristig der ganzen Gemeinschaft zugute.
Although the measure would have an initial cost, it would benefit the whole community in the long term.
Discuss an abstract issue
Technologie erleichtert die Kommunikation, wirft aber zugleich Fragen zum Datenschutz auf.
Technology makes communication easier, but it also raises questions about privacy.
Negotiate a solution
Wenn wir die Frist um eine Woche verlängern, können wir das Budget einhalten, ohne die Qualität zu mindern.
If we extend the deadline by a week, we can keep the budget without reducing quality.
These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.
