About this course

The course introduces German through everyday communication, including greetings, personal information, nationalities, hobbies, work and making plans. Lessons are taught primarily in German and use interactive activities such as group work and role-plays, alongside work on pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar. Participants also study essential structures including questions, verb conjugation, pronouns, articles, plurals, haben and sein, as well as formal and informal address. The course includes cultural content about German-speaking countries and uses lesson notes, summaries and online study resources.
