About this course

The course combines spoken interaction with systematic language work. Learners discuss comparisons, start-ups, environmental protection, plans, resolutions and future ideas through group activities and role-plays, while the teacher uses German throughout the lessons to develop comprehension and listening. Grammar includes comparatives and superlatives, future forms, subordinate and relative clauses, relative pronouns and the n-declension. Vocabulary, pronunciation and cultural material, including foodsharing and a German song, are also covered.

Is this course right for you?

This Intermediate (B1) course is intended for learners who have already studied German to a fairly high level. Previous study of German Level 14 or at least 168 class hours is required. Participation includes group work and role-plays, with spoken communication forming a central part of the lessons.
