German Level 16 | Evenings

About this course

The course develops communication around relationships, conflicts, health, music, habits and feelings. Learners practise telling stories, offering or declining help, giving warnings and discussing fables and music, while extending their vocabulary in related areas. Lessons combine spoken interaction with systematic work on grammar, including the past perfect, temporal subordinate clauses, reflexive pronouns and two-part connectors. The teacher uses German throughout, with group activities and role-plays providing regular opportunities to practise comprehension and communication.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for learners at an intermediate level who have already studied German to a fairly high level. It requires previous completion of German Level 15 or equivalent study of at least 180 class hours. Participation involves spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with teaching conducted in German.
