At A2 German, learners can handle simple routine exchanges and describe familiar aspects of everyday life.

About this course
The course develops spoken and written German through interactive lessons conducted primarily in German. Learners practise communication in group work and role-plays while extending their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading and writing skills. Topics include clothing and compliments, talking about past events, travel and destinations, and the weather. Lesson summaries, notes, study tips and further resources are provided through the course and its online platform.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for learners continuing beyond an elementary foundation in German. Previous study of German Level 5, or a course comprising at least 60 class hours, is required. Lessons involve spoken communication, group work and role-play, with teaching conducted mainly in German.
