About this course
The course develops spoken German alongside grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading and writing for everyday communication. Learners work with topics including introductions, past events, education, leisure and reasons for actions, using structures such as the Perfekt tense, modal verbs in the past and weil clauses. Lessons are taught mainly in German and use interactive formats including group activities and role-plays. Progress is based on participation and self-study rather than formal tests.
