About this course

The course develops workplace document and presentation skills across Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including templates, formatting, layouts, tables, graphics, charts, mail merge, media and inclusive design. It also introduces advanced Excel features such as formulae, conditional formatting and pivot tables, alongside basic Access functions. Teaching uses step-by-step guidance, with learners discovering how to complete tasks independently, working both individually and with classmates. The tutor provides individual guidance, and some work is completed outside the classroom using Google Classroom.

This Level 2 course is intended for learners who already have solid foundational Microsoft Office skills. Participants work through tasks independently as well as with other students, with tutor guidance and some study outside class.
