About this course
This course prepares learners for the content and expectations of Functional Skills English Entry 3. Classroom instruction and activities use real-life contexts to develop reading across different types of text, including identifying main points, detail and purpose. Learners also plan, organise and review writing for different purposes and readers, applying basic grammar and checking spelling. Formal and informal discussion forms part of the course.
