Glass art for all levels: develop your own creative glass projects

A glass art course for all levels combining demonstrations, individual tuition and project work across cold-working and kiln-formed techniques.
About this course
Participants investigate two- and three-dimensional glass art through techniques including appliqué, leading, copper foiling, casting, fusing, staining, painting, image transfer, slumping and sagging. The course covers glass properties, studio safety, and historical and contemporary approaches to cold-worked glass. Teaching combines group demonstrations, one-to-one guidance, practical exercises, discussions and independent project development. Learners can pursue a personal project or work on set projects, using sketchbooks and experimentation to plan and refine their ideas. Ongoing feedback supports reflection on the work and technical processes used.
