About this course
Participants create three-dimensional glass forms by combining layers of sheet glass or frit, then using fusing and kiln-forming processes. The course covers handling and cutting glass, construction methods, different glass types and the use of prefabricated moulds for fuse-to-cast work. Teaching takes place through demonstrations, discussion and set workshop tasks, with regular tutor feedback. Learners can explore how material choices affect colour, texture and form while developing safe working practices in a glass studio.
