About this course
The course develops knowledge of grammatical structures and how they function in written English. Learners examine different types of words in sentences, read a range of texts and use grammar, punctuation and spelling when producing their own work. Teaching combines individual tasks, group activities and discussions. Regular assignments are completed during classes and as homework, with writing practice including formal emails, letters, blogs and articles.
