Grammar and Writing for GCSE English

About this course

This preparatory course supports learners before progressing to their main course by combining functional English, maths and IT. Sessions include tutor-led instruction, discussion, collaborative activities and individual work, with opportunities to set personal targets alongside the stated learning outcomes. Participants practise reading and writing in everyday contexts, use digital tools such as email, Microsoft Teams and word-processing software, and develop approaches to time management, note-taking, problem-solving and exam preparation.
