About this course
Participants work on a commercial graphic design brief, developing and refining ideas through conceptual research, lateral thinking and quick rough work. The course explores photography, collage and illustration as approaches to visual communication, alongside opportunities to practise presenting design ideas clearly. Guidance covers the development of individual design directions and the software that may be suitable for finalising them, although computer use is optional. Off-site field trips or research visits may also form part of the course.
