About this course
The course introduces foundations and vocabulary from Hip Hop, House, Locking and Breaking. Sessions combine warm-ups, drills, creative tasks and tutor demonstrations with repetition of set material. Participants work both individually and as a group, applying the techniques to a short choreographed piece for performance before an audience. The course also addresses both set choreography and freestyle material, alongside an understanding of street dance styles and their culture.
