Guitar: Classical Guitar Orchestra

About this course

Participants rehearse classical guitar pieces from different periods and musical traditions, working as an ensemble under a conductor and preparing for a showcase performance. Music theory, rhythm, music reading and guitar technique are introduced through the repertoire itself. Teaching combines ensemble exercises, listening and analysis, demonstrations, discussion and peer feedback. Practical activities are supported by online materials, with ongoing assessment through classroom work and verbal and written feedback.
