About this course
The course introduces two hand-printing approaches: monoprinting for producing one-off images and relief printing using materials such as card, lino or found objects. Participants investigate how line, tone, texture and colour can be developed across printed images, including both monochrome and colour methods. Teaching combines demonstrations, handouts, practical assignments, individual tutoring and group discussion. The techniques are presented as methods that can be used without expensive equipment, including by learners interested in printing at home.
