About this course
This course examines proposed changes in British politics, including green investment, public ownership, wealth taxation, deregulation, private welfare provision and immigration restrictions. Discussion will consider how viable such policies may be in electoral and practical terms, and whether a continuing centre-ground consensus exists across the major political parties. Teaching takes the form of an interactive one-off lecture, with no work outside class.
