About this course
The course uses a 14-step process to help participants connect story ideas with meaningful themes and develop templates for conveying them. Activities include critical analysis of films, creative writing and the use of other art forms to stimulate connected concepts. Attention is given to the relationship between thematic detail, story and character. Participants work towards developing at least one substantial story that could potentially be taken into production.
