Improv Fundamentals Course

About this course

The course introduces American-style long-form improv through simple scenes and structured exercises. Participants practise attentive listening, observing scene partners, accepting offers, free association and extending ideas through “Yes! And”. They also explore bringing authentic behaviour to performance, along with stagecraft, object work and creating a shared base reality. The course culminates in performing a short improvised scene using an Armando showcase format.
