About this course
The course explores photographic techniques and picture-making through a combination of slideshow lectures, workshops and project briefs undertaken on and off site. Discussions introduce different genres, including landscape and street photography, and consider the approaches used by photographers across the medium’s history. Participants discuss their existing work and influences before developing assignments in response to the course material. Feedback sessions focus on editing and sequencing images, helping participants consider how individual photographs can be brought together into a coherent body of work.
