About this course

The course examines India’s development from 2004 onwards, considering economic growth, infrastructure, social welfare, digital governance and connectivity initiatives. It also explores India’s participation in international forums, the national and regional challenges it faces, and possible directions for its future development. Teaching combines lectures, PowerPoint presentations and class discussions. The course also considers India’s democratic and inclusive approaches to decision-making, alongside the policies and programmes shaping its position globally.
