Intermediate French Term 2

About this course

The course develops French for everyday communication, including describing work and interests, making phone calls and appointments, and inviting people out. Learners practise speaking, listening, reading and writing through grammar exercises, comprehension tasks, discussions and short written texts. Lessons also include French culture, regions and places in France and other French-speaking countries. Videos, sometimes with transcripts, are used to support understanding, while earlier topics are revised and extended.

Is this course right for you?

This course is intended for learners who have studied French for at least two years or have equivalent knowledge. The Intermediate (B1) label indicates work beyond basic language skills. Regular attendance, punctuality and study or activities outside class are expected.
