About this course

The course introduces current generative AI tools and examines their capabilities, limitations, and implications for ownership, copyright and law. Participants explore free services including Google Gemini, ChatGPT and Grok Imagine, alongside demonstrations of Midjourney and Krea.ai, then use these tools to create and refine visual content. Teaching combines explanations of key concepts with guided practical tasks. The course also covers animation and video tools such as Sora, Runway, Kling and Wan, plus editing, extending, saving and exporting work for social media, websites, print or personal collections. Optional homework and an individual project provide scope for continued development.
