About this course
Participants learn foundational silver metalwork through cutting, filing, shaping, soldering and finishing. The main project involves making a bezel setting for a round cabochon, then incorporating it into a ring or pendant. Teaching combines step-by-step group demonstrations with individual guidance. Those who complete the main brief early may make further rings or try setting a faceted stone in a tube setting.
