About this course
The course introduces the main decisions involved in setting up a business, from examining a business idea and considering self-employment to planning initial start-up activity. It also covers marketing, legal and financial matters, and the development of a business plan. Learning takes place through class activities and group work, with approximately 8 to 12 learners. The course is intended to provide guidance for people preparing to start a business and for existing business owners reviewing or progressing their plans. There is no assessment.
