Introduction to Cake Baking

About this course

Participants practise measuring, mixing and oven skills while exploring methods using oil or butter, moisture in cakes and ingredient combinations. Sessions combine live demonstrations with guided baking and decorating, using recipes, templates and troubleshooting advice to address common problems. The course covers classic and celebration cakes, including seasonal designs. Learners can ask questions during dedicated Q&A, receive tutor feedback and take part in peer evaluation of their work.
