About this course

This introductory course examines three psychological approaches that inform counselling: psychodynamic, person-centred and cognitive. It also covers confidentiality, professional boundaries and non-verbal communication. Alongside this theoretical work, participants practise listening skills and explore how to conduct a short counselling session. The course is non-accredited and provides a foundation for further counselling study.
