About this course
This ESOL class develops writing alongside listening, speaking and reading. Learners practise constructing simple and compound sentences, and begin using adjectives in their own writing. Lessons include individual tasks as well as pair and group work, with internet-based activities and other technology used to support language development. The course also includes preparation for ESOL exams and work on study skills.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for learners who have passed Entry 1 or who understand and speak English at a pre-intermediate level, and who can read and write using the Roman alphabet. An assessment and discussion with a teacher take place before enrolment. Regular attendance, English practice and homework are important.
