About this course

The course develops English reading alongside listening, speaking and writing practice. Learners work individually, in pairs and in groups, using written texts, internet-based activities and other technology to build language skills. Lessons focus on working towards finding information in texts and recognising the purpose of short written materials, while also preparing for ESOL exams.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for learners working at Entry 3 level who have passed Entry 2 exams or already use English at a strong intermediate level. An assessment and discussion with a teacher take place before enrolment. Participation includes individual work, pair activities and group tasks, with regular English practice and homework supporting progression.
