About this course

The course develops reading and writing towards Entry 1, while also working on speaking and listening at Entry 2. Teaching combines pair, small-group and individual activities with tutor discussions about progress. Learners may practise through audio work, role play, reading aloud, writing tasks, quizzes and language games, using computers and an interactive whiteboard. An individual learning plan sets personal targets, and progress is assessed through City and Guilds exams for the relevant unit.
