Introduction to ESOL Entry 3 Writing – Waterloo - Multiple dates

About this course

The course develops English across listening, speaking, reading and writing, with particular attention to producing short written texts and organising ideas in chronological order. Learners work independently and collaboratively, using internet-based resources and other technology during class. The programme also introduces exam preparation, helping learners work towards later Entry 3 Reading and Writing exams.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for learners who have passed Entry 2 exams or who use English at a strong intermediate level, and who can read and write using the Roman alphabet. Learners take part in individual, pair and group work. An assessment and discussion with a teacher take place before enrolment.

• Regular English practice and homework are identified as important for progression.
• An entry assessment is required before enrolment.

• Bring lined A4 paper or a notebook, a pen, a pencil, a rubber and an A4 file.
