About this course

The course focuses on developing reading alongside listening, speaking and writing. Learners practise identifying the main points and purpose of longer texts, while building broader language and study skills. Teaching includes individual tasks, paired activities and group work, with internet and other technology used in class. The course also includes preparation for exams and regular practice across the four language skills.

Is this course right for you?

Although labelled Beginner (A1), the course information is aimed at learners who have passed Level 1 exams or already use English confidently at a strong upper-intermediate level. An assessment test and discussion with a teacher take place before enrolment. Regular attendance, homework and daily English practice are expected.
