Introduction to Generative AI – Taster

About this course

The session introduces artificial intelligence, including its potential benefits and risks, before exploring browser-based generative AI tools. Participants will use text platforms such as ChatGPT and Bard, text-to-image applications including Adobe Firefly and Dall-E, Firefly’s generative fill, and additional tools such as Canva. Teaching combines theoretical content with step-by-step tutor guidance, real-world examples, individual tasks, group discussion and question-and-answer time. Participants will also complete a personal learning plan during the session.
