About this course
The course introduces machine sewing alongside core garment-making techniques. Participants work with cut fabric pieces, identify their shapes, align seam allowance edges and practise stitching different seam types and applications. Teaching includes repeated accuracy exercises, with attention to observing seam allowances while sewing. Projects include constructing a tote bag and a skirt, allowing these techniques to be applied in finished items.
