Introduction to Riso 2: Colour Separation for Photos and Illustrations

Beginner-level workshop on Risograph colour separation, covering photographs, illustrations, spot colours and pre-press workflows.
About this course
This workshop develops Risograph skills through digital colour separation for photographs and illustrations. Participants examine custom colour profiles, create duo-tones from colour and grayscale images, and use CMYK channels and spot colours to produce three- and four-colour prints. The session also covers Riso-specific pre-press and proofing workflows. Participants develop their own existing artwork into a small print edition using Photoshop or InDesign, building on the techniques introduced in the first workshop.
