About this course

The course introduces the main components and terminology of robotics, including mechanical structures, electronic systems, sensors, actuators and control systems. Participants work through the process of designing and constructing simple robots, then programme them to control movement, respond to sensor input and carry out defined tasks. Teaching combines interactive lectures with hands-on building and programming exercises. Projects also introduce autonomous behaviour, decision-making algorithms and examples of robotics applications across different industries.
