About this course

Learners use a Bernina sewing machine individually, with demonstrations, discussions, workshop practice and one-to-one guidance. The course covers machine setup and threading, selecting and using different machine feet, practical stitches, seams and hems, and troubleshooting common problems. Participants also practise safe use of sewing tools and equipment, produce samples for future reference, and learn basic machine maintenance. All course work can be completed in class.
