About this course
The course develops Italian for practical situations involving going out, meeting people and childhood. Learners practise inviting someone out, responding to invitations, discussing past events and presenting arguments for and against. Grammar work focuses on pronouns, the passato prossimo and imperfetto, and prepositions. Teaching centres on communication through pair and group activities, role plays and games, supported by presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Homework is recommended to reinforce class learning.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for Elementary learners at around A2 level who have studied Italian for about a year recently, completed Italian 2 Lower: Module 1 or have an equivalent level. Participation involves regular spoken interaction, pair and group work, role plays and recommended homework.
