About this course
This course develops Italian for situations involving holidays and eating out. Learners practise describing and planning holidays, discussing past events and personal experiences, and ordering food and drink. Language work includes the conditional tense, combined prepositions, and the distinction between passato prossimo and imperfetto. Teaching centres on spoken communication through pair and group work, role plays and games, supported by presentations, handouts and audio-visual resources.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for learners at Elementary (A2) level who have recently studied Italian for about a year. It is designed for those who have completed Italian 2 Lower: Modules 1 and 2, or have an equivalent level. Participation includes spoken interaction, pair and group activities, and role play.

- Homework is highly recommended to consolidate learning
