About this course
The course develops practical use of Italian through discussions about cultural topics and life in Italy, including music, art and food. Learners may also help choose topics with the tutor and class. Teaching centres on spoken communication, with pair and group work, role plays and games. Presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources support classroom activities. Homework is highly recommended to consolidate learning.

This course is intended for learners at Intermediate (B1) level who have studied Italian for about three years. Participation involves spoken interaction, pair and group activities, and discussion, with homework recommended between classes.
