About this course

The course extends learners’ command of Italian through work on expressing doubt, making complaints, describing objects, discussing advertising and engaging with contemporary literature. Grammar focuses on the subjunctive, including its past and imperfect forms, alongside direct and indirect speech. Teaching centres on spoken interaction and communication, using pair and group activities, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Homework is recommended to reinforce classroom learning.
