About this course
The course develops spoken fluency through discussion of current affairs and literary texts, supported by newspaper extracts, video and film excerpts, and authentic audio materials. Classwork includes spoken interaction, pair and group activities, role plays and games, alongside presentations and hand-outs. Grammar work consolidates complex structures including the conditional, subjunctive and past tenses. Homework is recommended to reinforce classroom learning, while specific learning outcomes are agreed at the beginning of the course.

Is this course right for you?
This Advanced (C1+) course is intended for learners with at least four years of Italian study. It uses spoken interaction, pair and group work, role plays and games, with homework recommended for consolidation. It is equivalent to A-level standard and does not lead to an examination.
