About this course

The course develops spoken Italian through discussions in pairs, small groups and as a whole class, alongside presentations and responses to unprepared questions. Learners work with contemporary topics related to life and culture in Italy, research online, read and analyse texts, and complete individual writing activities. Listening work uses authentic passages and focuses on extracting specific information and overall meaning. Progress is monitored through weekly activities and formal coursework, with regular tutor feedback.

Is this course right for you?

Designed for advanced Italian learners working at C1-C2 level. Participation includes group discussion, paired and small-group activities, presentations, written work and responding to questions without prior preparation. Completion of the previous Conversiamo in Italiano unit or equivalent study is recommended.
