These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.
About this course
The course introduces Italian through everyday situations including greetings, introductions, personal information, telling the time, eating out, leisure activities and expressing likes or dislikes. Grammar includes the verbs essere, avere and andare, present-tense forms, negative sentences, and formal and informal forms of address. Teaching centres on spoken communication, with pair and group activities, role plays and games supported by presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources.
