About this course

The course develops spoken Italian for everyday exchanges about introductions, family, work, personal details and food. Learners extend their vocabulary, practise longer sentences and study Italian sentence structure, including regular verbs ending in -are, -ere and -ire alongside some irregular verbs. Teaching includes tutor-led activities, question-and-answer practice, in-class observation, audio and video resources, and discussion of aspects of Italian culture. Homework and progress checks form part of the learning process.
