Italian for holidays (Beginners) Evening

About this course

The course introduces basic Italian for communication on familiar holiday topics. Learners work with greetings, the alphabet, personal information, family-related vocabulary and numbers, developing a foundation for common travel interactions. Progress is supported through classwork, homework and individual learning targets set at the start of the course. Learners are expected to consolidate material outside class and complete tasks advised by the tutor.

Is this course right for you?

The course is designed for complete beginners and learners with very little Italian. No previous knowledge is necessary, and the course suits learners preparing to use basic language on holiday. Participation includes class activities and some study or homework outside class.

• Individual learning targets are set at the beginning of the course.
• Additional support is available for literacy, numeracy and learning difficulties or disabilities.
