About this course

This introductory course develops basic Italian for everyday exchanges. Learners practise greetings, introductions, personal information, numbers and simple questions, including situations such as hotel check-in. Lessons cover listening, speaking, reading and writing, with spoken communication as the main emphasis. Teaching is primarily conducted in Italian and uses group work and role-play to rehearse practical interactions. Learners receive lesson summaries, notes, study tips and additional resources, with progression based on participation and self-study rather than formal tests.
