What Pre-intermediate (A2+) Italian means

At A2+ Italian, learners can connect simple sentences, give reasons and manage a wider range of familiar situations.

  • Explain a preference

Preferisco viaggiare in treno perché è più comodo e posso leggere.

I prefer travelling by train because it is more comfortable and I can read.

  • Handle a small problem

La camera è molto fredda. Potrebbe controllare il riscaldamento?

The room is very cold. Could you check the heating?

  • Describe an experience

L’anno scorso ho visitato Firenze e mi è piaciuta molto l’architettura.

Last year I visited Florence and really liked the architecture.

These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.
