What Pre-intermediate (A2+) Italian means
At A2+ Italian, learners can connect simple sentences, give reasons and manage a wider range of familiar situations.

About this course
The course develops spoken Italian through interactive lessons involving group work and role-plays. Teaching takes place in Italian, giving learners regular practice in comprehension and listening alongside communication activities. Lessons also address grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Topics include work and professions, culture, public spaces and the future. Learners practise making recommendations, understanding public instructions, describing routines, discussing future possibilities, explaining causes and recounting changes or events.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for learners at Pre-intermediate (A2+) level who have already studied Italian to a fairly high level. Previous completion of Italian Level 12 or at least 144 class hours is required. Participation includes spoken communication, group work and role-plays, with the teacher speaking Italian throughout.
